Overview

AutoText is a FuBar enabled addon for World of Warcraft that manages a collection of frequently used messages. To send a message, simply click it in the list. A convenient GUI message editor helps you maintain your messages. Messages can target a specific player (whisper), your party/raid/group/battleground, guild, officer, etc.

(Note: While AutoText is FuBar enabled, it does not require FuBar to work. If you are not a FuBar user, AutoText will simply attach to your minimap. See the screenshots for an example.)

Features

Available Message Targets

• SAY - /s or /say
• YELL - /y or /yell
• PARTY - /p
• GUILD - /g
• OFFICER - /o
• RAID - /ra
• RAID_WARNING - /rw
• BATTLEGROUND - /bg
• WHISPER - /w or /t or /tell. You will be prompted for the player's name to whom you want the message sent.
• TARGET - Sends a whisper to your current target
• REPLY - Replies to the last person to send you a whisper
• GROUP - Automatically selects PARTY or RAID as appropriate

Upcoming Features

• EMOTE target - Create custom emote texts (ala /em or /me) using this target
• Optional custom slash command for messages. Examples might include /ventinfo or /lootrules for commonly used messages.
• Text substitutions for simple things. Examples might include %t for target, %f for focus target, %n for your name, %m for last killed mob, etc.

Development Status

AutoText is currently in ALPHA status, which means you can expect to find bugs. I'm actively working on it, so check back for updates frequently. For now, you may post bugs to the comments of this page if you'd like.
